Lightnings - Controlled by Humans
Its a bit off-topic … just to say that at the beginning… Lightning is defined to be “an atmospheric discharge of electricity, which typically occurs during thunderstorms”. Nice technical definition, but does not describe what humans think when they see and watch this. Some days ago I spend a weekend in Munique (Germany), where they have a demonstration of lightning in the Deutsche Museum” (a big technical museum). It was indoor, and (only) 50.000 Volts … but a horrible feeling.

So on one side it may be a waste of energy, but hopefuly it will help to generate useful energy. The power of a lightning is immense. The other important thing I learned was respect. respect what power is in the hands of nature. Respect of just being a small human being which may be destroyed in fractions of a second.
